Engagement Session

An engagement session is the perfect opportunity to have professional photographs of you two together, but also a great chance to meet your photographer and get to know one another before your big day. 

There's no written rules for a pre wedding photoshoot. It could be a natural documentary style bunch of photographs of the pair of you naturally interacting with a few guided poses, or a magazine style photography session. It could be a mix of the two, or neither at all, we set the rules! 

We choose a location and we meet up. We take 5 to discuss what you like and what you don't, and also what you're comfortable with and go from there! The main point of this session in my opinion is to break any ice, to work naturally together and to get some stunning photographs from this sweet period of your relationship. This gives us a great insight of what we can all expect come your wedding day when the time comes to sneak off from your guests for those all important married couple shots!

Once arrived at our chosen location, most commonly an engagement session consists of taking a slow but steady paced walk, stopping along the way to utilise the great space and surroundings, to find the best backgrounds and search for beautiful light letting us frame the best shots. 

If it looks like rain on our preferred session day we can re-arrange. I pride myself on doing the best I can to keep my clients happy, and provide them with the least stressful photography sessions possible. We can keep in touch leading up to this meeting as we all know what the good ol' British weather can be like.
